Chairman

Ibrahim Ahmad Ali

Ibrahim Ahmad Ali has been actively engaged in education, institutional development, and international business for several years, with a particular focus on expanding access to structured and meaningful education in northern Kerala. His work reflects a sustained commitment to institution building, ethical leadership, and long-term social responsibility.

He currently serves as the Founder and Chairman of the Kuniya Group of Institutions (KGI), an academic ecosystem comprising schools, colleges, and specialised institutes. Established with the intention of making disciplined and practical education accessible to students from diverse and modest backgrounds, KGI has grown steadily under his guidance, offering pathways across foundational education, undergraduate and postgraduate study, professional learning, and competitive examination preparation.

In parallel with his work in education, Ibrahim Ahmad Ali is the Founder and Chairman of the Universal Group of Companies, a UAE-based industrial group engaged in lubricant manufacturing and distribution. The group’s flagship brand, Zinol, serves markets across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, and other regions. Through a focus on operational reliability, careful expansion, and long-term partnerships, he has overseen the development of blending facilities, warehousing systems, and international distribution networks.

Across both education and industry, Ibrahim Ahmad Ali’s leadership is characterised by steadiness, practical judgement, and a belief in sustainable growth. He views institutions as long-term commitments rather than short-term ventures, guided by responsibility to people, society, and the wider public.

Alongside his formal roles, Ibrahim Ahmad Ali has supported individuals and families through consistent and largely private efforts.
